Behind the Whisk

I’m Megan, the heart and hands behind the bakery, and I’m so glad you’re here! My baking journey began when my oldest asked me to make her birthday cake. At the time, I didn’t know how to bake, but I gave it my best - and I’ve loved it ever since! Baking runs deep in my family; my grandma, my mom, and other family members have always been amazing bakers, and I’m proud to continue that tradition in my own way.

What started as a single cake has grown into a true passion for creating sweet memories for others. I love working closely with clients to bring their vision to life, whether it’s a birthday, wedding, or just a special treat! I bake each cake and treat from scratch with high-quality ingredients, bringing your vision to life with care.

As a proud military spouse who has been in Eastern North Carolina for over 13 years, I feel honored to serve the greater Jacksonville community. When I’m not in the kitchen, you can usually find me spending time with my kids, getting lost in a good book, or enjoying a run outdoors.
